Give your wardrobe a second life! In this fun, creative workshop, you’ll learn how to transform existing clothing into something fresh, stylish, and uniquely yours. Whether it’s an oversized button-up, a pair of jeans, a dress that no longer fits your style, or a thrift store find, we’ll guide you through the process of reimagining and reconstructing it into a wearable piece you’ll love.
Students will learn:
- How to plan an upcycle project
- Garment deconstruction techniques
- Basic pattern modifications
- Sewing and construction methods
- Professional finishing techniques
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind garment and the confidence to continue upcycling your own clothing at home.
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate (basic sewing machine experience recommended)
Please Bring:
- 1–2 clean garments you’d like to transform
- Any trims or embellishments you’d like to incorporate (optional)
