Alteration Appointments

Our alteration policies and prices have recently changed. Please read before booking.
FULL FITTING — $15 FITTING FEE
Choose this option if you need to try on your garment or have it pinned, measured, or fitted.
The $15 fitting fee covers your seamstress’s fitting time and is NOT applied toward your alteration total.
Not sure? If you need to try it on, book a Full Fitting.
DROP-OFF — $15 DEPOSIT
For simple alterations and repairs that do not require trying on or pinning. You will need to have items pre-measured or marked. We are not liable if items have not been marked correctly.
Your $15 deposit is applied toward your alteration total.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Maximum 6 items per client, per appointment.
- Appointments are approximately 15 minutes.
- Please bring the shoes/undergarments you plan to wear if they affect the fit or length.
- Current alteration turnaround is approximately 3–4 weeks.
- Jobs needed in less than 3 weeks are considered RUSH and are subject to a $20+ rush fee, based on availability.
- Alteration prices have recently increased. Final pricing is based on the garment and complexity of the work.
CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment.
No-shows and cancellations/rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice forfeit the $15 deposit or fitting fee. A new $15 payment will be required to rebook.
PICKUP
We’ll text you when your alterations are ready with a link to schedule your pickup.
Currently not accepting non-clothing items or buttonholes.

A glass door labeled "16 S. Market St" leads to the stairway.
At the top of the stairs, turn right.
The Sandy Seamstress is located straight ahead, slightly to the left.
