Intro to Swimwear: 3-Week Reversible Bikini Course 👙

Learn to make your very own fully reversible two-piece swimsuit at The Sandy Seamstress!
This hands-on, three-week course is beginner-friendly, but experienced sewists are welcome too! Whether you’re learning to sew or looking to expand your skills, you’ll learn techniques for working with stretch fabrics and creating professional-quality swimwear.
Students will make a reversible bikini top with a front tie detail and simple bottoms, using construction techniques that don’t require elastic.
What You’ll Learn
- Introduction to regular sewing machines and sergers
- How to work with stretch fabrics
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing swimwear patterns
- Constructing fully reversible swimwear
- Professional finishing techniques without elastic
- Tips for achieving a great fit
During our first class, we’ll cover the basics of regular sewing machines and sergers, so no previous serger experience is necessary!
