Patchwork Blanket Making Course
November 8, 15 & 22 | 1:00–3:30 PM
Learn the art of patchwork sewing as you choose fabrics, cut and arrange squares, and stitch them together to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind blanket. Our instructor will guide you through cutting, piecing, assembling, and finishing your blanket.
What You’ll Learn:
- Choosing fabrics, colors, and patterns
- Measuring and cutting fabric squares
- Arranging and sewing patchwork pieces
- Assembling your blanket layers
- Adding the finishing touches
Beginner-friendly! No prior sewing experience is required. All sewing machines and tools are provided.
Registration Options
$185 – Instruction Only (Bring Your Own Materials)
Includes all three classes, use of studio sewing machines and tools, and hands-on instruction. Students provide their own fabrics and blanket materials. A supply list will be provided before the course.
$245 – Instruction + Materials Included
Includes all three classes, use of studio sewing machines and tools, hands-on instruction, and all materials needed to complete your patchwork blanket.
By the end of the course, you’ll take home a beautiful handmade throw blanket that’s perfect for gifting or cozying up with!

Booking & Cancellation Policy
All classes, workshops, courses, and keiki camps at The Sandy Seamstress are non-refundable once booked.
We understand that plans can change! If you’re unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Advance Cancellations: With sufficient notice, we may reopen your spot for registration. If we’re able to fill your seat, your payment may be reimbursed.
- Emergencies: We understand that unexpected situations happen. In certain circumstances, we may offer a gift card for the amount paid to use toward a future class. These exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
- No-Shows & Last-Minute Cancellations: Missed classes and no-shows are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future class.
- Multi-Day Courses: Registration reserves your spot for the entire course. Missed sessions are not eligible for partial refunds, prorated credits, or make-up classes.
- Studio Cancellations: If The Sandy Seamstress cancels a class, students will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another available class.
